Well, what an interesting and intense time these past 7 months have been! Both an invitation for us to go inward and really examine what is actually important to us and an invitation for us to take a much closer look at the world outside of us – how it has been presented to us and what all of this craziness has really been about.
What has really struck me over this time has been the level of disconnection that exists on this planet – in terms of mind, body and soul. And how current events are inviting us to become aware of – and heal – that disconnection. In short – to understand who and what we truly are – and to reclaim our sovereignty accordingly.
But what does reclaiming our sovereignty actually look like? In essence, it comes down to consent – something that I am very aware of in regard to the work that I do. Consent over how we allow our bodies to be treated, consent over whether we allow someone outside of us to tell us what to think and do, and consent over whether we align with those who wish to cause separation in this world – or create unity instead.
Determining whether to give consent over how we let our bodies be treated by another in a sexual context – and precisely who that other is – is something that most of us realise we haven’t always been too good at. And is, in fact, often a major factor to leading us to this conscious sexuality work in the first place. Only when we become aware of how sacred and precious our bodies are – and how sharing them with others is something that requires a very healthy level of discernment – can we start to experience the kind of deep connection and intimacy that we crave.
The current situation in the world – which, at the very best, is a disastrous over-reaction to what is no more than a flu virus – has presented us with yet more, very important choices, when it comes to safeguarding the sovereignty of our bodies. Being told we cannot even freely breathe oxygen, or that we need to submit to invasive tests or poorly tested (and, quite frankly, downright dangerous) “vaccinations” before we can fully partake in the world – are absolute abominations in terms of our bodily sovereignty. And in the months ahead we are going to need to be very strong in our determination not to give consent to anyone wishing to override that.
It is worth considering what has brought us to this point in the first place. And I believe that starts with how much sovereignty we have over our own minds. In other words, how much we question and of how much we refuse to accept something as “true” simply because someone we think knows better than us, says so – or because it is on the news. For those who have never questioned authority, or have always blindly accepted the mainstream media’s narrative about the goings on in this world, suddenly realising that “all is not as it seems” can be a tough pill to swallow. But swallow it we must if we are going to have any hope of reclaiming sovereignty over our own minds – and of working out what is truly going on beneath all the noise and drama in order to move our lives forward in a positive way.
Reclaiming sovereignty over our own minds – and the stillness we are able to access when we do this – allows us to remember – and listen to – the sovereignty of our hearts. Here we remember who we really are.
Reclaiming any aspect of our sovereignty really comes down to possessing a deep-seated knowing of who and what we really are – namely, all unique, individual expressions of the Divine having a human experience. Once we know that – truly, deeply know that – we then reclaim our Sovereignty on every level, and it becomes impossible to continue playing small or submitting to anyone else’s idea as to how to think, feel, act or take care of our bodies.
There are many ways to access such a knowing. Meditation, psychedelics, yoga, deep states of orgasm. It really doesn’t matter how we choose to get there – but finding a practice that opens our minds and bodies to the infinite knowing of our souls is now more important than ever in these challenging times.
Calling in strength, courage and clarity for us all – may we all know our own Sovereignty and stand strong within it – so creating a brighter future for our planet and all who live on it.
